EduClick is currently training 50 Secondary school teachers in Yaounde on Instructional Technologies for Distance Learning. In a situation where more and more kids are out of the classroom, Teachers need to be equipped with those skills that will enable them reach or kids despite their vulnerabilities.
Our curriculum consisted of introducing the Bloom taxonomy, to help them carve better learning objectives, How to develop digital appealing content using Canva, screencasting with Loom, course hosting with Youtube or Vimeo, and how to create and manage a class with Google Classroom.
We also went ahead to introduce them to Learning Management Systems, where we paid specific attention to EduClick, how to use its embedded authoring tool to create and manage classes and as well publish on https://educlick.africa
It's been a great session and we're looking forward to replicate in other regions, especially those regions where we have the highest number of out of school children.
The program is sponsored by the US Embassy in Cameroon, administered by Open Dreams with EduClick as Implementation partner in charge of desiging curriculum, and facilitating the sessions
